The Launch Pad 2 Woods have been designed using advanced computer modelling that has resulted in a tour-proven face geometry that creates faster ball speeds while still providing a great level of forgiveness. One of the key elements that was focused on when the engineers at Wilson were creating the Launch Pad 2 range is the issue of slicing the ball off the tee. One of the ways that they have managed to solve this issue is by using an inherent draw bias that helps golfers overcome this problem and so create shots that fly straighter and with much more accuracy. Focusing on the draw bias has gone into a lot of the design aspects, including the geometry and angle of the face of the club as well as the head shape, moderate offset and centre of gravity positioning that has been moved forward and towards the heel.
